What do you do besides burn your leaves?
There are many different things that you can do to your leaves. Many of the cities around the United States offer a leaf pick up service for you. Trucks come by and pick up leaves and turn them into mulch. Also you can also buy bags and the city will also come to pick the leaves and turn them into mulch. This is very beneficial to your neighbors and all of the people around you because they aren't breathing in all of the toxins and all the particles that can ruin your internal organs like your lungs. Also most people I know hate the smell of leaves so next time you are about to burn a nice pile of leaves, don't do it!

Burning Leaves and the effect on people
My blog today will be about the effect of leaves on us people. Some people say that the smell of leaves smell good but to me it smells nasty and it makes me cough. Some places let you set them on the curb and the city get them and then later turn them into mulch, but there is also a option to burn them. Everyone knows that Algore was asking factories and organizations to try to stop burning fossil fuels, well the leaves are giving off smoke and that can harm the environment, but thats not what I'm talking about today. Today I'm going to tell you what the effect of burning leaves is on us humans.
I have asthma but It's not that bad but the smoke the leaves give off makes it hard to breath a little bit. It does that because moisture is trapped in the leaves, therefor they will burn slower thus generating a lot of particulates, fine bits of dust, soot, and other solid matters. Those particulates can go deep into the lung tissue and that will cause coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and long term respiratory problems. Other dangerous things are that leaves give off carbon monoxide which can reduce oxygen in the blood and in your lungs. Also there is another chemical in the leaves smoke that is the same thing that gives smokers cancer. Also a leaf fire could get out of control and start a forest fire that can effect many people and major devistation like you hear in California.

Who is my favorite baseball team?
My favorite baseball team is the indians. This year they did'nt do good at all this year, but in 2007 seven they almost went to the world series but the Boston Red Sox beat them. It was pretty bad expecially because they were up three games to one and Boston cam back and won. I've been a fan of the indians since I was born and so has my dad I used to play a baseball computer game and i got some of my favorite players off of that game. My favorite play is Omar Visquel. He used to play when Manny Ramirez played for the indians, and Jim Thome. They also last year had cliff lee who's record was 23-2 and he won the Ci young award, but we traded him to the Phillies. They also had CC Sabathia who's a 6"7 pitcher. He pitched about 95 Mph and he was really intimidating but we also trades him to the yankees.
Getting along
Hi it's me again and i have found a great website about getting along that I want you bloggers to see. It's a great website that anyone can use. It is important that teammates on a baseball have teamwork or else you could not win. You always have to remind you how many outs there are and cheer on your team mates and you have to trust in one another because if you want to turn a double play your infielders have to be ready and also you have to remind you teammates how many people are on base. Also outfielders have to have good teamwork and communication because they have to call each other off of pop flies.
My Baseball Team
As a part of Team 3 I'm excited to be blogging on the topic of co-existence. I play baseball for a travel team called Quad City Heat, and i will be playing for high school next year. I play second base and pitcher and my dad is the coach of my team so I usually start we have 11 people on our team. Practice is really fun but if we mess around we cant talk or anything. Practice in the winter is the most fun because we have this really fun game that helps with hitting and reaction. Last year we were pretty good. We won state last year it was really fun! We all had a really good time. We played 4 games in one day to win Iowa AA State Champion Chip. The whole team takes batting lessons for $10 and at state we it really payed off. Most of us got along last year, but next year we are going to a lot better. We hope to win state one more time.
