How does Animal Farm connect with our daily lives?
Animal Farm can connect with a lot of things that animal farm can connect with our daily lives and also it can connect to things that in history. First I will give you some examples that to relate to history. In my english class we are reading Animal Farm. We are on chapter 2 and it has been a good book so far. We have also been relating some of the animals to people from the russian revolution. We compared Lennin to Old Major who is a wise boar. But animal farm compared to our daily life is tricky. I can say that Old Major is like my grandpa because he is very smart. But unlike comparing characters I will compare it with life. My dad is going to a union meeting with other people to ask the board for a raise or they will argue. It is just like Animal Farm. They might revolt unless they get a better life.

Who holds power in your life?
In my life my parents hold power over me sadly. They might be a little over protective and they just say that they are because they love me. They also help me make good decisions. For example, when I have questions about what classes I should take for my sophmore year and what will help me most in life they give me an honest answer and I trust them. My dad told me to take computer concepts 1 because you type for a while in that class and that is a skill that can make your life much easier. An example of how it can make life easy is while i'm doing this post I might be able to type faster and more accurate because I have been in computer concepts learning how to type.
Sometimes they make decisions that I don't like. For example, they say I can't go out with friends tonight or play xbox or PS3. Sometimes I don't like those decisions so somtimes I don't like it when they use there power to prevent me from doing things that I want to do.

Abused!
There are about 1190900 (71%) children and teens that run away from home every year. Some of the reasons why kids run away from are siblings are mean and hateful to them, their parents don't give them a place to sleep at night, and because they feel unwanted in the family, but the main reason is they are in a family where their parents or older siblings and the parents abuse them daily.
A few of the reasons but not the main reason why kids run away from home are they feel they aren't wanted, they don't get a nice warm place to sleep at night, and siblings are mean and hateful to them. First one of the reasons are because their parents don't give them a warm nice place to sleep. They might make their child sleep down in the dark cold basement with mice, rats, spiders, and other rodents and insects and they have to have them crawling all over them while they try to sleep on a hard cold floor with nothing to keep them warm like a blanket or pajamas or even a small heater. Those kids suffer the worst and I really feel sorry for them and there parents because that is terrible to treat your child. The second reason why kids and teens run away from home is because they don't feel they are wanted by there parents or siblings but a lot of the kids and teens are wrong because most parents love there children and they would do anything for them but maybe they got in a disagreement, a fight, or a small argument and the kid didn't get what he/she wanted so they just ran away. That isn't the main reason why kids run away though. The last reason besides the main reason why kids run away from home is their siblings are mean and hateful to them. They don't help them do there homework or reach high things that they can't reach or anything that a nice brother or sister would help the do.
The main reason why kids and teens run away from home is child abuse! There were about 244,903 confirmed cases of physical child abuse, 44,648 confirmed cases of emotional abuse in 2008. Some of the reasons why parents abuse there children are there parents were abusive when they were a child, the parents could be drunk and not know what they are doing, the kids or teens might not obey them so they feel they should teach them a lesson and hurt them and they don't know about it. One of my moms friends husband spanked there baby and broke their baby girls legs and he didn't mean to so now he has to spend a few years in prison.
This should be handled because like i said in the 3 paragraph many kids have been abused and if you go in the kids shoes it seems like all you can do to escape the abuse or not getting a warm place to sleep or getting abused by siblings and parents.

What do you do besides burn your leaves?
There are many different things that you can do to your leaves. Many of the cities around the United States offer a leaf pick up service for you. Trucks come by and pick up leaves and turn them into mulch. Also you can also buy bags and the city will also come to pick the leaves and turn them into mulch. This is very beneficial to your neighbors and all of the people around you because they aren't breathing in all of the toxins and all the particles that can ruin your internal organs like your lungs. Also most people I know hate the smell of leaves so next time you are about to burn a nice pile of leaves, don't do it!

Burning Leaves and the effect on people
My blog today will be about the effect of leaves on us people. Some people say that the smell of leaves smell good but to me it smells nasty and it makes me cough. Some places let you set them on the curb and the city get them and then later turn them into mulch, but there is also a option to burn them. Everyone knows that Algore was asking factories and organizations to try to stop burning fossil fuels, well the leaves are giving off smoke and that can harm the environment, but thats not what I'm talking about today. Today I'm going to tell you what the effect of burning leaves is on us humans.
I have asthma but It's not that bad but the smoke the leaves give off makes it hard to breath a little bit. It does that because moisture is trapped in the leaves, therefor they will burn slower thus generating a lot of particulates, fine bits of dust, soot, and other solid matters. Those particulates can go deep into the lung tissue and that will cause coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and long term respiratory problems. Other dangerous things are that leaves give off carbon monoxide which can reduce oxygen in the blood and in your lungs. Also there is another chemical in the leaves smoke that is the same thing that gives smokers cancer. Also a leaf fire could get out of control and start a forest fire that can effect many people and major devistation like you hear in California.

Who is my favorite baseball team?
My favorite baseball team is the indians. This year they did'nt do good at all this year, but in 2007 seven they almost went to the world series but the Boston Red Sox beat them. It was pretty bad expecially because they were up three games to one and Boston cam back and won. I've been a fan of the indians since I was born and so has my dad I used to play a baseball computer game and i got some of my favorite players off of that game. My favorite play is Omar Visquel. He used to play when Manny Ramirez played for the indians, and Jim Thome. They also last year had cliff lee who's record was 23-2 and he won the Ci young award, but we traded him to the Phillies. They also had CC Sabathia who's a 6"7 pitcher. He pitched about 95 Mph and he was really intimidating but we also trades him to the yankees.
